Mr. Lurie has been a director and officer of Organic Garage since founding the company on December 7, 2005. Following employment in the grocery retail industry throughout high school and university, he saw an opportunity in the growing Subway brand and signed his first franchise agreement in Toronto at the age of 20. Mr. Lurie became one of the youngest multi-unit Subway franchisees in Canada upon opening two additional restaurants over the following three year period. Mr. Lurie opened the first Organic Garage location in 2005, following the success of a farmers market he started under a tent in high park selling organic fruits and vegetables, which at the time were only available at select grocery stores for a significant premium compared to conventional produce. For the last 10+ years, Mr. Lurie has overseen and managed the growth of the company and opened a second location in Vaughan as well as a 40,000 sq/ft state of the art centralized distribution facility in Etobicoke. Mr. Lurie received the Generation Next Award by Canadian Grocer in 2016 and was featured in IHR Magazine in the March/April 2012 Edition.

Mr. Crupi was the Co-Founder and CEO of Paramount Gold and Silver Corp. from 2004 until its eventual sale to Coeur Mining in April 2015 for over $200 million. He was also a founder of other successful mining ventures, including Urastar Gold which was sold to Agnico Eagle in 2013 and Meadow Bay Gold Corp of which he is now CEO. He was formerly a Special Assistant to the Right Honourable Don Mazankowski, Deputy Prime Minister of Canada. Mr. Crupi is a Chartered Accountant and practiced with several international accounting firms where he was a corporate restructuring expert. Mr. Crupi holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hon.) in Finance from the University of Ottawa
Mr. Clifford has extensive experience in entrepreneurial start-ups both in the private and public sector. Over the last 18 years, Mr. Clifford has built and maintained extensive relationships throughout many different industries, having earned a platinum record as the manager of one of Canada’s most successful pop music artists, played a leading role in building one of the world’s foremost electric car companies, and branched into the restaurant business as founder of the world’s first 100% sustainable Ocean Wise certified sushi restaurant. In 2015, Mr. Clifford played a primary role in the introduction of the sustainable consumer water brand Boxed Water, into the Canadian market, and was a speaker at the world renowned Idea City Conference. Mr. Clifford continues to play a significant role as an innovator and investor in entrepreneurial start-ups with a passion for helping select companies and individuals achieve personal and professional success.
Ken Villazor has worked for Senators Sports & Entertainment since August 2003 serving principally as an Advisor and Alternate Governor to Eugene Melnyk the Owner, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators. Ken has more than 20 years of experience working in a wide range of areas including communications, corporate affairs, public relations, business development, government relations, philanthropy and public policy. He has held numerous senior positions in the biopharmaceutical industry including with SmithKline Beecham, GlaxoSmithKline and Biovail Corporation as well as with the industry’s national trade association based in Ottawa. He was a member of the Transition Team that oversaw the operational integration of the merger between SmithKline Beecham and GlaxoWellcome. Ken is also a member of the RendezVous LeBreton group which was recently selected as the highest ranked proponent by the National Capital Commission to redevelop the 53 acre LeBreton Flats site in downtown Ottawa. This redevelopment will be the second largest urban real estate development project in North America. Ken sits on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Senators Foundation. His previous Board experience includes sitting on Committees responsible for finance, governance, and CEO searches. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science (Hon) degree from St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto.
Mr. Stein joined Dentons, considered the world’s largest law firm, as Counsel in 2014 after serving as Counsel at Heenan Blaikie since 2008. From 1994 to 2008, he was a senior executive with Magna International Inc. reporting to the Chairman, Frank Stronach and continued to act as a consultant reporting to the Executive Vice-Chairman until November 2010. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Stein held the position of Senior Vice-President of Corporate Affairs at Magna. Before joining Magna, Mr. Stein was Senior Corporate Counsel for Toyota Canada and Toyota Credit Canada. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Mr. Stein has been a board member of various companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange. His other business interests include real estate and a significant ownership interest in a well-known Canadian restaurant chain with locations in Ontario and Québec. Aside from his professional activities, Mr. Stein was a Big Brother, a board member of Canada’s Walk of Fame and Ontario Place, as well as a member of the Advisory Council for President William J. Clinton’s 60th Birthday Fundraising Celebration.
Mr. Williams is the Head of US Institutional Equity Sales at Cormark Securities Inc. and has been on the Board of Directors at Cormark Securities Inc. since 2006. From 1996 until 1999, Mr. Williams held employment positions in the Investment Banking and Merger and Acquisition Advisory departments at a few leading investment banking firms in North America. Mr. Williams holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the Richard Ivey School of Business. In addition to his professional activities, Kevin was instrumental in the establishment of the ACCESS Bursary (helps to fund tuition for financially disadvantaged boys and their families) at St. Michael’s College School. Mr. Williams also serves as an Investor and Building member of the Leadership Giving community at The Richard Ivey School of Business.
